Precision Turning
OD and ID features, bores, grooves, threads, tapers, faces, and repeatable turned geometry.
CNC turned components, live-tooling features, secondary operations, finishing, and inspection provided through one manufacturing partner.
From simple diameters and threads to parts combining turned and milled features, Orvindal provides the full manufacturing requirement around the print.
Turning performance depends on more than the lathe cycle. Material condition, workholding, concentricity, thread fit, secondary features, heat treatment, finishing, and inspection can all determine whether the finished component performs as intended. Those requirements are reviewed at the RFQ stage before production begins.
For components with cross-holes, flats, slots, wrench features, or other secondary geometry, live tooling or additional milling can be used when appropriate. Process selection is based on geometry, tolerance, quantity, finish, and repeatability.
OD and ID features, bores, grooves, threads, tapers, faces, and repeatable turned geometry.
Milled features on turned components when geometry and production requirements make it practical.
Secondary machining, finishing, inspection, and documentation available as part of the quoted requirement.
